Dice Rose is a Director of Photography based in Los Angeles, California. She got her start while studying dark room film development and printing in high school and college in Colorado.
Dice moved to California after her acceptance at UCLA where she earned her MFA in Film. She received several awards such as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Award, the MPAA award, and the Jack Nicholson Distinguished Student Director Award. The TV series, SANITY, she worked on in her final year was also nominated for a College Emmy. Her Narrative & Documentary work has since be programmed at Cinequest, Palm Springs, Tallgrass, SXSW, Straight8, BFI, Nitehawk Cinema, Hulu & Amazon.
She deeply passionate about filming stories that uplift those voices that largely ignored. She loves capturing both the surreal and celebrating beauty in the ordinary.
